Third Annual TMF Car Wash

Date: Saturday, October 24, 2009

Time: 0900-1300

Location: PIX Gas Station (Publix Grocery), 1021 Center Pointe Place & South Royal Oaks Blvd., Franklin, TN 37064

Directions: I-65 to exit 65 in Franklin (Hwy 96). Take 96 towards Franklin to the first traffic light (1/2 mile), which is Royal Oaks Blvd. Turn left and the PIX is immediately on your left at the first light.

 

We have consistently been able to raise about $1,000 during the 4 hour event. $1,000 translates to postage for about 100 boxes to our Marines.

There is rarely a shortage of traffic, so we need all the help we can get, in three areas:

1. Car Washers
2. Sign holders - they bring in the trafffic
3. Administration - collecting money, selling TMF merchandise, talking about TMF.

Items Needed:

Drying Towels and Squeegies
Cleaning Rags
Car Wash Soap
Buckets
Hoses
Nozzles

...And most importantly - manpower. This is hard work, but the fellowship is excellent, you get to meet lots of people and you can't beat the cause.
