Captain Brent Morel

Capt. Morel was born on July 26, 1976.  Capt. Morel was Killed In Action on April 7, 2004 in the Al Anbar Province.  Capt. Morel was married to Amy on June 12, 1999.  Capt. Morel's parents are Mike & Molly, his sister is Marcy Morel, and his niece is Madi Nelson. 

 Capt. Morel joined the United States Marine Corps in 1995 as enlisted reserves.  Capt. Morel was accepted to Office Candidate School and received his officer commission in May, 1999, a week before marrying Amy.  Capt. Morel applied to join the Recon Marines and graduated from Recon School just months before deploying for Iraq.  Capt. Morel was extremely proud to be serving with the 1st Recon Battalion at Camp Pendleton.  For Heroism on April 7, 2004, Capt. Morel was posthumously awarded the Navy Cross.
