up in Kuwait in Oct. 2007.

Cpl Corbitt graduated from PI
on 4/2/04 and is assigned as a Combat Engineer with the 4th CEB,
Knoxville, TN. Cpl Corbitt recently returned from Iraq after
serving a 7 month OIF tour. Cpl Corbitt is currently working
as a Hot Shot firefighter with the US Forestry Service
and planning to become certified as an EMT this fall.

LCpl. Owen is currently deployed. LCpl. Owen was Combat Meritoriously promoted to Lance Corporal in November for rushing in with a fire extinguisher and pulling two men from a burning humvee after an IED exploded. He was able to save two but the other two in the vehicle did not make it. He also recently took out a suicide bomber who was racing toward their check point. The bomber's vehicle was loaded with enough explosives to have taken out all three of the Humvees that were at the check point plus others. He is definitely a Hero in my eyes!
